Rooted Robotics is at the forefront of rethinking automation for the indoor farming industry. In our pursuit of designing automated grow facilities we saw a gaping hole in the market. Small to medium farm operators want to boost productivity and operational efficiency of their farms but are limited to two options: hand tools and extremely expensive automation equipment.
Rooted Robotics fills the gap with machines that jump far ahead of the throughput basic hand tools can provide, but are up to five times cheaper than large scale automation solutions. We design all our machines to meet the immediate needs of farms and evolve alongside their growing demands with low cost add-ons that further increase their productivity and decrease labor.
SEEDING
The Tabletop Microgreens & Baby Greens Seeder is a versatile, user-friendly seed broadcasting system tailored for micro and baby green seeding in standard grow trays. Designed specifically to aid farmers and operators by minimizing labor associated with seeding in daily operations and training. Equipped with high-torque motors and customizable speed settings, operators can easily dial in settings for their specific needs to optimize consistent seed distribution ultimately boosting their yields. This portable model is easy to move and store, and ideal for growers seeding 100 to 2500 trays daily.
